A video conference was held on Tuesday between the parliamentary friendship groups of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. and Parliament of I. R. Iran. The delegations were led by Mrs. Jasmina Karanac, President of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Iran, and Dr. Mahmud Pezeskijan, President of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Serbia. Ambassadors of Iran in Belgrade, Mr. Rashid Hasanpur, and Serbia in Tehran, Dr. Dragan Todorovic, also took part. They discussed the strengthening of parliamentary cooperation, opportunities for improving economic cooperation where there is good communication at the governmental level, current and future mutual support in international organizations, as well as the challenges facing the two countries in the context of the corona virus pandemic. MPs Mrs. Jasmina Obradović, Mrs. Danijela Veljović, Mrs. Sanja Jefić Branković, Mr. Luka Kebara and Mr. Zoran Tomić also attended the meeting.
